Slow Cooker German Mulled Wine
While honey adds an extra flavor dimension to the German Mulled Wine drink, you can omit adding it during the slow-cooking portion of this recipe. You can then sweeten the finished drink using honey, sugar, brown sugar, or sugar substitute according to your personal taste and preference. To add a touch of spicy sweetness to this drink, sprinkle a few pieces of cinnamon red hot candies into each serving.
