Slow Cooker Ginger Ale
Forget buying ginger ale in the store! Once youʼve had this slow cooker version, youʼll never drink store-bought again.

- 1 cup water
- 2 cups sugar
- ¼ cup grated ginger
- 1 cup lemon juice
- Water or Club soda
- Add the water and sugar to a 3-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours. During the last hour of cooking, prop the lid open on the side by ½" for the steam to escape.
- Turn off the heat. Add the ginger. Cover and let the water come to room temperature on its own.
- Add the lemon juice. Strain the mixture through a strainer. Store in a tight-lidded bottle in the refrigerator.
- Add water or club soda before serving.
