Slow Cooker Ginger-Pear Hot Punch
Make this spiced hot pear punch in a slow cooker.

- 6 cups water
- ½ cup sugar
- 1" piece fresh ginger, peeled and grated
- 7 ripe pears, peeled, seeded and diced, divided
- In a 4-quart slow cooker, add the water, sugar, ginger, and 6 pears. Cover and cook on low heat for 3 hours.
- Carefully pour through a fine-mesh strainer before serving in heatproof mugs. Garnish with a thin slice of pear on the glass.
