Slow Cooker Ginger-Pear Hot Punch

  • 6 cups water
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1" piece fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • 7 ripe pears, peeled, seeded and diced, divided


  • In a 4-quart slow cooker, add the water, sugar, ginger, and 6 pears. Cover and cook on low heat for 3 hours.
  • Carefully pour through a fine-mesh strainer before serving in heatproof mugs. Garnish with a thin slice of pear on the glass.
