Slow Cooker Gluten-Free Tomato Ketchup
Condiments such as ketchup are generally gluten-free, but you always have to read the label and check with the manufacturer to make sure. Instead of worrying, you can make your own and know exactly what ingredients are in your specially made ketchup!

- 1 can (15 oz.) no-salt-added tomato sauce
- 2 tsp. water
- ½ tsp. onion powder
- ¾ cup sugar
- ⅓ cup cider vinegar
- ¼ tsp. sea salt
- ¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
- ⅛ tsp. ground cloves
- ⅛ tsp. ground allspice
- ⅛ tsp. ground nutmeg
- ⅛ tsp. ground black pepper
- ⅔ tsp. sweet paprika
- Add all ingredients to a 2.5 quart slow cooker. Cover and, stirring occasionally, cook for 3 hours on low or until ketchup reaches desired consistency.
- Turn off the slow cooker or remove the insert from the slow cooker. Allow mixture to cool, then put in a covered container (such as a recycled ketchup bottle). Store in the refrigerator for up to a month.
