Slow Cooker Masala Chai
This spicy chai is soothing and comforting. Sip some on a chilly day, under a blanket on your couch!

- 5 cups water
- 2 sticks of cinnamon
- 1 tsp. whole cloves
- 1 tsp. green cardamom pods, crushed
- 1 Tbsp. grated ginger
- 4 Tbsp. loose black tea, or 10–12 black tea bags
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 cups 2% milk
- Add the water to the slow cooker and turn the heat on high. Once the water is hot, add all the spices, tea, and sugar. Cover the lid and cook for 2 hours.
- Open the lid, add the milk, and cook for another 20 minutes. Strain the prepared tea through a strainer into tea mugs and serve.
