Slow Cooker Poached Figs with a Kick
Enjoy these poached figs with a little bit of spice as is, or over ice cream.

- 8 oz. fresh figs
- 1 cup water
- 1 vanilla bean, split
- 1 Tbsp. raw honey
- 4 dried Sichuan peppercorns, crushed
- Put all ingredients into a 2-quart slow cooker. Cook on low for 5 hours or until the figs are cooked through and starting to split.
- Remove the figs from the poaching liquid and serve.
