Slow Cooker Pumpkin Pie Bread

Pumpkin is a wonderful flavor year-round, not just during the holidays. This bread goes well with poultry, and it freezes well.

  • 3 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1⁄2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1⁄8 tsp. ground mace
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups canned pumpkin
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract


  • Line a slow cooker with parchment paper and spray with nonstick cooking spray. Sift the flour and baking soda, then add the salt and spices.
  • Beat the eggs and blend with the pumpkin, sugar, oil, and vanilla. Add the liquid mix to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared slow cooker. Cover and heat on a high setting for 3 hours.
