Slow Cooker Saffron Rice
Saffron threads give the rice a golden glow and a delicate sweet flavor.

- 2 cups long-grain white rice, uncooked
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- ¾ tsp. saffron threads
- 1 tsp. salt
- Add all ingredients to a 4-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat for 4–5 hours.
- Check the rice to see if it is tender. If not, cook for another 30–45 minutes.
