Slow Cooker Tofu Scramble

Make this simple tofu scramble in a slow cooker. Feel free to add your favorite vegan cheese, vegan bacon, sausage, or vegetables to this basic recipe.

  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 package (16 oz.) firm tofu, drained and crumbled
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. turmeric
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
  • The juice of 1 lemon
  • ¼ cup chopped chives


  • Grease the bottom of a 4-quart slow cooker with olive oil. Add garlic, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Cover and cook on low heat for 3 hours.
  • About 3 minutes before the scramble is fully cooked, stir in the lemon juice. Sprinkle with chives before serving.
