Smoked Salmon and Dill in Cream Sauce with Pasta

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill
  • ½ cup chopped scallions
  • 2 tsp. grated lemon zest
  • 3 Tbsp. capers, drained
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 lb. spaghetti, cooked
  • 6 oz. smoked salmon, chopped

Directions

  • Combine the cream, milk, dill, scallions, and lemon zest in heavy-bottomed saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the capers. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Place pasta in a large, warm bowl. Pour the sauce over it and toss to coat. Add the smoked salmon and toss again to combine. Serve.
