South of the Border Rub
This dry rub packs a punch with the bite of the chili powder and red pepper. To spread more easily, add a few teaspoons of water or stock.

- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
- ¼ tsp. ground red pepper
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. chopped thyme
- Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and mix thoroughly.
