Sparkling White Grape Sorbet

Try serving this decadent sorbet in a wine glass, topped with equal parts white wine. You’ll be the hit of any social event!

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs. white grapes
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup light corn syrup
  • ¼ cup sparking white grape juice

Directions

  • Wash and halve the grapes, and combine with the water in large pot over medium heat. Stirring occasionally, cook the grapes until soft and liquidized. Remove from heat.
  • Press the grapes through a mesh strainer to remove the seeds and skins. Add the corn syrup and sparkling juice to the grape mixture, and chill in the refrigerator until cool.
  • Add to ice cream maker and follow manufacturer’s instructions for freezing.
