Spicy and Sweet Grilled Apples
These are delicious served for breakfast or as dessert with whipped cream or ice cream.

- 4 large apples
- 1⁄4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1⁄4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1⁄4 cup raisins
- 1⁄4 cup chopped walnuts
- 4 tsp. butter
- Wash and dry the apples. Remove the cores, making sure not to cut all the way through to the bottom or the stuffing will fall out.
- Mix the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins, and walnuts together and fill the apples. Make cups for the apple bases with heavy-duty aluminum foil. Dot the tops of the filling with butter.
- Set the grill to low. Place on indirect heat, cover the grill, and bake the apples for 20 minutes.
