Spicy Walnuts

Pecans, cashews, or pistachios would be delicious in this recipe too.

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ tsp. onion powder
  • ½ tsp. kosher salt
  • ½ tsp. curry powder
  • ½ tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 lb. shelled walnuts


  • In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, onion powder, salt, curry, pepper, garlic powder, and ginger.
  • Add walnuts and stir well to coat with the seasoned oil.
  • Place walnut mixture in a small slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours, stirring once halfway through. Serve hot or at room temperature.
