Stewed Cinnamon Apples
The longer these luscious apples are cooked, the softer they become.

- 1 tsp. maple syrup
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp. vanilla bean paste
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 4 medium apples, peeled, cored, and cut into wedges
- Place maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla, lemon juice, and water in a 4-quart slow cooker. Stir until maple syrup dissolves. Add apples.
- Cook on low for up to 8 hours. Stir before serving.
