- 2 cups strawberries, hulled
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 1 1⁄2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1⁄3 cup sugar
- Purée strawberries in a blender. Strain strawberry purée to remove seeds by pressing through a fine mesh sieve with the back of a large spoon until you have 1 cup of strained purée.
- In a small saucepan, whisk together purée, water, cornstarch, and sugar until well blended. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Cool completely.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
