To make simple syrup, combine 1 part water with 2 parts sugar in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer until the sugar is completely dissolved.

- 1⁄2 cup tequila
- 1⁄3 cup triple sec
- 1 package (8 oz.) frozen strawberries
- 1⁄2 cup chopped cantaloupe
- 1 cup crushed ice
- 1⁄2 cup simple syrup
- 2 Tbsp. lime juice
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- Combine all ingredients in blender or food processor and blend or process until mixture is smooth and thick. Pour into margarita glasses that have their rims dipped in water and sugar to coat.
