Sweet Chai Tea
Basic black tea, oolong tea, or an herbal tea blend such as orange or ginger all work wonderfully in this recipe, so feel free to mix things up! Serve over ice for a refreshing treat in hot weather.

- 5 cups water
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1⁄2 cup agave nectar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1⁄4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1⁄4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1⁄8 tsp. ground allspice
- 1⁄8 tsp. ground cardamom
- 1⁄8 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 6 black tea bags, strings removed
- Place water, milk, agave, vanilla, cloves, ginger, allspice, cardamom, and cinnamon in a large saucepan and whisk until combined. Add tea bags and stir well.
- Heat over high until contents begin to steam but have not yet boiled, about 5 minutes. Turn off heat and let rest 1 minute.
- Remove tea bags and ladle into a teapot or mugs. Serve immediately.
