Sweet Multigrain Bread

This nourishing, earthy bread tastes great and is full of fiber! Blackstrap molasses adds flavor, color and nutrition.

  • 1¼ cups water
  • 2 Tbsp. vegan margarine
  • 1⅓ cups bread flour
  • 1⅓ cups whole-wheat flour
  • 1 cup multigrain cereal, uncooked
  • 2 tsp. vital wheat gluten
  • 3 Tbsp. blackstrap molasses
  • 1¼ tsp. salt
  • 2½ tsp. instant yeast


  • Assemble bread machine with the dough paddle in place. Bring all ingredients to room temperature.
  • Add all ingredients to the pan in the order indicated in your machine’s operation manual. Proceed according to manufacturer’s directions for wheat bread.
  • Cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pan. Cool bread completely before slicing. Store in an airtight container or freeze.
