Sweet Potato Pie Smoothie

While most wouldn’t think to use sweet potatoes as a smoothie ingredient, the beta-carotene and vitamin C–packed vegetable adds valuable nutrition and a sweet creaminess to any smoothie.

  • 2 large baked sweet potatoes, peeled and cooled
  • 1 cup vanilla almond milk
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1⁄2 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 cup ice


  • Combine the sweet potatoes, almond milk, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and 1⁄2 cup of the ice in a blender. Blend until thoroughly combined.
  • Add remaining ice while blending until desired consistency is achieved.
