Sweet-and-Sour Dipping Sauce
To turn this into a stir-fry sauce, simply don’t cook it and use as called for in a stir-fry recipe. Stir the sauce before adding to the stir-fry to bring up any cornstarch that has settled on the bottom.

- ¾ cup water
- ½ cup pineapple juice
- 3 Tbsp. ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp. rice vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- Combine the water, pineapple juice, ketchup, sugar, rice vinegar, and cornstarch in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly.
- Use the dipping sauce immediately or store in a sealed container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
