Sweet and Spicy Chili-Lime Chicken Legs
These chicken legs are wonderfully simple to prepare and they make a wonderful appetizer or game night meal.

- 2 lbs. chicken legs
- 1⁄3 cup honey
- 1⁄4 cup coconut aminos
- 3 Tbsp. lime juice
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 medium red jalapeño, seeded and finely diced
- 2 tsp. lime zest
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Place chicken on a large, rimmed sheet pan. Bake for 40 minutes or until a meat thermometer registers at least 165°F. Reserve.
- Combine the honey, aminos, lime juice, water, jalapeño, and lime zest in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer, and reduce heat to medium-low. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Place chicken in a large bowl, and drizzle sauce over the legs. Toss with tongs to coat.
