Sweet and Spicy Walnuts

- 2 Tbsp. coconut oil
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 tsp. curry powder
- ½ tsp. cayenne
- ¼ tsp. onion powder
- ¼ tsp. garlic powder
- 3 cups walnut halves
- Pour coconut oil into a 4-quart slow cooker, turn on high and allow to melt. While oil is melting, in a separate bowl, mix honey and seasonings together.
- Once oil as melted, add walnuts to slow cooker and stir. Add honey and seasoning blend to slow cooker, and stir until evenly coated. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour. Stir the nuts, recover, and cook for another hour.
- Remove cover and cook an additional 30 minutes, until the nuts are dry. Cool and store in airtight containers.
