Tamarind Sauce

This sauce is used to complement many different Thai dishes.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup fish sauce
  • 7 Tbsp. tamarind juice
  • ½ cup palm sugar
  • 1 tsp. red chili oil

Directions

  • Mix together all the ingredients in a pan over medium heat. Cook until the sugar melts, stirring throughout. Remove from heat when slightly caramelized.
