Tarte aux Prunes (Plum Pie)

Plum pie is a great summer delight! Add semolina at the bottom to soak up their juices.

- 1 pie shell (9")
- 2 Tbsp. semolina
- 2 lbs. plums, pitted and sliced
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- With a fork, make small holes all over the pie dough. Sprinkle semolina all over the bottom.
- Arrange plum slices in the crust in a spiral pattern. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons sugar on top. Dice 1 tablespoon butter finely and sprinkle as well. Cook for 35 minutes total, starting on the top rack for about 15 minutes, then baking for the remainder of the time on the lower rack.
- Serve warm.
