- 1 tsp. black tea, or 1 tea bag
- 1 star anise
- 1 oz. anise liqueur
- 1 tsp. sugar
- Put tea leaves or tea bag in a cup, add the star anise and pour ¾ cup hot water over it; let infuse for up to 4 minutes. Drain and discard the solids. Add the anise liqueur to the tea and sweeten with sugar. Serve immediately.
