Tequila Lime Chicken
Chicken should marinate for only a few hours in the refrigerator; any longer and the flesh will become too soft. This simple marinade can be used with turkey or pork, too.

- ¼ cup tequila
- ¼ cup lime juice
- 2 Tbsp. adobo sauce
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- ⅛ tsp. cayenne pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- In large bowl, combine all ingredients except chicken breasts and mix well. Add chicken and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Prepare and heat grill. Remove chicken from marinade and place on grill. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Turn chicken, cover again, and cook for 10 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Discard remaining marinade.
