- 1 garlic clove
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp. mirin (Japanese rice wine)
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. ginger, chopped
- Smash and peel the garlic clove. Combine all the ingredients. For best results, make ahead of time to give the flavors a chance to blend.
