Tex-Mex Beer Bread
Serve this super-easy bread hot out of the oven with butter seasoned with chili powder, oregano, and cumin to taste. It’s excellent served with any soup or chili.

- 2½ cups self-rising flour
- ⅓ cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 can (12 oz.) beer
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- Preheat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix just until blended.
- Spray 9" x 5" loaf pan with nonstick baking spray; pour batter into prepared pan. Bake at 375°F for 50–55 minutes or until bread is firm and light golden brown and pulls away from edge of pan. Serve warm.
