Thai Beef Nachos

These unique nachos are a delicious combination of Mexican and Thai food. Serve as an appetizer at your next game day party.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1⁄2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1⁄2 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1⁄4 cup soy sauce
  • 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
  • 4 cups corn tortilla chips
  • 3 tbsp. Thai peanut sauce
  • 2 tbsp. green onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp. sesame seeds

Directions

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and crumble to cook.
  • Stir in garlic, ginger, red pepper, soy sauce and brown sugar. Cook about 5 minutes, until liquid is absorbed.
  • Spread tortilla chips on a baking sheet. Top with ground beef mixture, peanut sauce, green onion, cilantro and sesame seeds.
  • Serve and refrigerate leftovers.
