- 1 cup chickpeas, soaked for 24 hours
- ½ cup basil leaves
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 cup tomato purée
- 1 tsp. all-natural sea salt
- In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, basil, and garlic cloves. While processing, gradually add ¼ cup of the tomato sauce.
- Once the mixture is chopped to desired chunkiness, transfer the hummus to a large glass dish. Combine the remaining tomato sauce with the hummus until well blended. Add salt.
