Turkey Meatballs
This is a fairly generic meatball recipe with some basic additions. You can substitute any type of ground meat you prefer: bison, beef, chicken, or pork. Flaxseed meal can replace the almond meal as well.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs. ground turkey (93 percent lean)
- 1 cup almond meal
- 2 large eggs
- 5 scallions, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. dried basil
- 1 Tbsp. dried oregano
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well with clean hands. Form turkey mixture into 24 meatballs and place on 2 rimmed baking pans.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
