Turkey with Meatballs

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • 1 cup minced onion
  • 2 cups diced celery
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 2 cups diced carrots
  • ½ lb. ground turkey breast
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 slice sprouted grain bread, crumbled
  • 1 Tbsp. coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper


  • In a large pot over medium heat, bring the water, tomato sauce, garlic, onion, celery, potatoes, and carrots to a boil. Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the turkey breast, egg, breadcrumbs, coriander seeds, garlic powder, and onion powder, and blend well. Roll the mixture into mini meatballs.
  • Place the meatballs in the soup and continue to simmer for another 20 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through.
