Turnip Temptation Smoothie

When was the last time you ate a turnip? This rarely enjoyed root vegetable is a great addition to any diet.

  • 1 cup chopped romaine lettuce
  • 2 turnips, peeled and cut to fit blender
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 2 cups purified water


  • Place romaine, turnips, carrots, celery, and 1 cup water in a blender and blend until thoroughly combined.
  • Add remaining 1 cup water, as needed, while blending until desired texture is achieved.
