Vegan Chocolate Strawberries
This is a yummy snack that will store in the refrigerator for about three days. You may want to try other fresh fruits in addition to the strawberries, such as banana slices, pineapple cubes, plums, or mangos.

- ¾ cup raw cacao powder
- 2 Tbsp. carob powder
- ¾ cup liquid coconut oil
- 2 Tbsp. agave nectar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 pint strawberries
- To prepare the chocolate sauce, first warm the coconut oil to a liquid by placing the container in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes. In a blender, blend all ingredients except the strawberries until smooth. You may need to add a tablespoon of water to help the ingredients blend.
- Pour the chocolate sauce into a bowl. Press a toothpick through the stem of the strawberry and dip the berry into the chocolate sauce. Cover the bottom ⅔ of the strawberry in chocolate, leaving the green stem and a little red fruit showing.
- Arrange the strawberries on a plate and freeze for 2 hours until the chocolate sauce hardens. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
