Vegan Dark Chocolate–Covered Pretzels

Who doesn’t love chocolate-covered pretzels? Have these on hand when you need a sweet and salty fix.

  • 3 oz. vegan dark chocolate chips
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable shortening
  • 12 gluten-free mini pretzels


  • Melt chocolate and shortening over a double boiler. Stir until smooth and combined.
  • Remove from heat. Dip each pretzel in chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  • Place on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper and chill in refrigerator until firm.
