Veggie Skull and Hummus Dip
Sugar skulls are a beautiful Día de los Muertos tradition. This calavera (skull) uses brightly colored vegetables for eye appeal.

Ingredients
- 2 containers (10 oz. each) hummus
- 2 bags (5.5 oz. each) multicolored vegetable chips
- Cucumbers
- Carrots
- 2 Cherry tomato
- Black olives
- Radish
- Green onion
- Whole almonds
- Bell peppers
- Celery
Directions
- Base: Scoop hummus onto a 9x13-inch serving platter, forming a skull shape. Arrange chips around skull to help sharpen its edges.
- Eyes, Nose and Mouth: Cucumber slices surrounded by halved carrot coins make for impressive eyes. Use cherry tomato slices for the irises and black olive pieces for the pupils. A radish cut into a heart shape is perfect for a nose, and as for the mouth? Go with a slice of green onion with almond teeth.
- Finishing Touches: Using bell peppers, celery and olives, go wild with your decorating. Use our photo for inspiration!
