Very Cherry Vanilla Smoothie

If you never thought your kids would go for natural cherries (not the processed maraschino kind!), you may be surprised at their delight with this confectionary concoction.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cherries, pitted
  • 1 banana, peeled
  • Pulp of 1 vanilla bean
  • 1 cup of vanilla almond milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ice

Directions

  • Combine cherries, bananas, vanilla bean pulp, almond milk, and vanilla extract in the blender with ½ cup of the ice and blend until thoroughly combined.
  • Add remaining ½ cup of ice gradually while blending until desired consistency is reached.
