Making waffle cones is one of those things you simply must have the right equipment for. There are many different waffle cone machines on the market, from standard waffle to mini. A pizzelle maker works just as well.

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1½ cups powdered sugar
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- Whip cream and vanilla in medium bowl with a whisk by hand, to almost soft peaks.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the sugar, flour, and cornstarch. Add mixture to cream, and stir until combined.
- Chill for 30 minutes to 1 hour, then prepare on waffle iron according to manufacturer’s instructions. While still hot, wrap each waffle around a cone roller, shape by hand, or press into a bowl for an alternate vessel shape.
