Warm Fresh Ginger Tea

- 1 cup boiling water
- 2" piece fresh gingerroot, grated
- Juice of ½ medium lemon
- 1 tsp. pure maple syrup
- ¼ tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- ¼ tsp. Himalayan salt
- Combine all ingredients in a small pitcher. Let sit 2–3 minutes. Strain into teacup and serve.
