- 1 small cinnamon stick, broken into 1" pieces
- ¼ tsp. ground cloves
- ¼ tsp. nutmeg
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- ⅔ cup honey
- 1 bottle dry red wine
- 6 thin lemon slices
- Combine all the ingredients except the lemon slices in a 2-quart slow cooker. Heat on high for 1 hour or until hot, then reduce to low to hold temperature for serving.
- Ladle into cocktail glasses and top each serving with a lemon slice.
