Yogurt Cheese with Honey and Walnuts

Yogurt of any fat content can be strained.

Ingredients

  • 2 pints plain yogurt (any fat content)
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • ¼ cup Greek thyme honey

Directions

  • Line colander with clean kitchen cloth or cheesecloth; spoon yogurt into it. Place over large bowl and refrigerate. Let stand overnight to drain water content. You will be left with approximately half of the original amount of yogurt.
  • Spoon out small servings of yogurt (about ¼ cup or so), sprinkle with generous amount of chopped walnuts, and drizzle a tablespoon of thyme honey over top of each serving.
