What is it?
Drug manufacturer savings programs include coupons, copay cards, and patient assistance programs (PAPs). These programs often help insured patients with high deductibles or co-payments and may provide free medication to low-income or uninsured individuals.
Know before you go
- Visit the medication manufacturer’s website.
- If qualified according to the site’s directions, enroll in the savings program.
- Bring the required information to your pharmacy at pickup. This is usually emailed or texted to you upon completion of your enrollment.
Medicare Weight Loss GLP-1 Bridge Program
The Medicare Weight Loss GLP-1 Bridge Program is a program that may help eligible Medicare patients access certain weight loss medications not typically covered by Medicare Part D. This program is effective July 1, 2026 and runs through December 31, 2027.
